Perspective: My goal was to make trading my life’s career when I joined the Chicago Board of Trade in 1975. I have known traders who made a quick and huge killing by trading futures contracts, then pursued other ventures. I also know many traders who had have made futures trading their lives’ career. The latter most appealed to me.
